Bus,
Coach and Truck Lamps
Introduction
Since
1993, we have been manufacturing Interior Fluorescent Bus and
Truck lighting, and have established ourselves as leaders in
the South African market. We offer our customers the completed
Fittings (Recessed, Saloon, Destination, etc ) or just the
Electronic ballasts (Inverter, Converter, etc...) which can be
mounted to any housing.

Durban
Municipality (DTMB), was the first major fleet operator
to standardize on our Interior Fluorescent lighting in
1995. They now have a fleet in excesses of 650 buses,
which carry our Interior Fluorescent lamps.
To
any company looking at exporting our Bus Lighting, we
have been inspected and approved as a manufacturer by
the DTI (Department of Trade & Industry), which in
turn means, the Bus company doing the exporting is
eligible for export assistance (MIDP) from the DTI. Man
Bus & Coach and Dehaans Body Builders are already
claiming from the Department. |

lamps are of a high quality (White epoxy baked steel
Chassis & Trim ring, rust and chip resistant.), giving
the company and the bus a more professional image.

actual light is whiter and brighter, than the old
out-dated little round tail light globe.

winter and over-cast days, passengers feel more secure
with better lighting (less crime on the buses) and it is
also easier for the driver to check the fair.

lamps are of a Standard type, as supplied by other
importers in the past, which means, a direct replacement,
which fits.

fair amount of the semi-luxury and luxury buses come
factory fitted with florescent lighting, in this instance
we even supply the replacement 24V Electronic Inverter for
their existing lamps.

Our
electronics cannot be blown during installation, even if
incorrectly connected.

As
for Specifications - Our Lamps work well beyond the max.
and min. Voltage levels produced by the buses.

M.T.B.F.
(Mean Time Before Failure) of more than 7 years.

Repairs
and Guaranteed repairs are no problem, unlike imported
units.

Our
annual Price increase has averaged at under
3% p.a. for
the last Nine years.

The
price is also fixed for 2002/2003.

in comparison to other imported & local units the
price is more competitive, thus more cost effective.
